Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions about Neo Tennis.

Getting Started

How do I redeem promo codes?

Navigate to the Code Area in the main lobby, press E to interact, enter the code in the purple text box, and click Check to claim rewards. All rewards are deposited immediately into your inventory.

What's the difference between Lucky Spins and Normal Spins?

Lucky Spins remove the 62.5% Common tier entirely and boost Legendary to 45%. Normal Spins have 62.5% Common, 35% Rare, 2% Legendary, 0.5% Mythic, and 0.1% Secret. Always use Lucky Spins for the best odds at S-tier styles.

What are the best promo codes to use?

SWZYHHWK3R9 provides 5 Lucky Spins (highest value). FIXCROWDSFX gives 3 Lucky Spins or $2,000. Enter all codes to maximize your Lucky Spin count before spinning.

What's the best style to use?

The S-tier styles (Temporal Master, ADS Robot, Meteor Rain) dominate the competitive meta. Temporal Master is generally considered the best for solo ranked due to its combo scaling in extended rallies.

Gameplay

What is the timing window for perfect hits?

The optimal input window operates on approximately a 4-frame margin of error. You must align the visual indicators exactly with the ball within this micro-window for a "Perfect" hit classification.

How do rally chains work?

Every successful volley builds kinetic energy. The longer the rally continues, the more powerful your shots become. Extended exchanges culminate in devastating, unblockable power shots that can end points instantly.

What are the special shots?

  • Photon Smash: High-velocity downward strike at jump apex
  • Gravity Curve: Non-linear mid-air trajectory manipulation
  • Electro Slice: Erratic bounce/deceleration for disrupting combos

What do the racket stats mean?

  • Movement: Court traversal speed
  • Jump: Vertical interception height
  • Dash: Burst mobility distance
  • Power: Knockback force on ball
  • Speed: Ball velocity after strike
  • Reach: Racket hitbox radius (best defensive stat)
  • Spin: Ball curve intensity

Competitive

How does the ranked system work?

Neo Tennis uses skill-based matchmaking with Elo tracking across divisions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Grandmaster. Seasonal resets occur between seasons (e.g., S4 to S5) to keep competition fresh.

What is Party Mode?

2v2 ranked team format in beta. Requires tactical coordination with a partner, spatial division of the court, and synergistic style/flow combinations. ADS Robot is particularly lethal in this mode due to AOE overlap potential.

What flow states should I use?

Meta-tier flows are God Speed, Berserk, The Zone, Curved Shot, and Lightning Spike. For most situations, The Zone (+30% all stats) is the safest choice due to its versatility and long duration.

How do I counter Temporal Master?

Aggressive early-game pressure to disrupt their combo chain. Never engage in extended wars of attrition against Temporal Master - they thrive in long rallies. Rush them down before they can build their legacy combo multiplier.

Economy

How do I earn Neo Points fast?

Win ranked matches for bonus Neo Points. Longer matches in higher divisions yield better rewards. Participating in seasonal events and tournaments also provides significant Neo Point payouts.

What's the rarest style in the game?

Secret-tier styles have a 0.1% drop rate from Normal Spins and 1% from Lucky Spins. Limitless is considered the most powerful due to no stat caps and no ability cooldowns. Curse King makes all shots unblockable at the cost of halved stats.
